Cow Appreciation Day

In an awesome move by the always delicious Chick-fil-A they will be celebrating “Cow Appreciation Day” by giving away a free meal to anyone who shows up dressed like a cow at any of their restaurants on July 10th. Your initial thought is naturally “what constitutes a cow costume?” What if I take a heavy set person and paint some black spots on their face? Is that enough? What if I wear my cow skin vest? Fortunately none of those count for a free meal (they might get you an “entree” though). You have to “make an effort to be dressed like a cow from head to toe.”  I guess that means you have to straight up wear a cow costume. You have to go to a costume place and buy or rent a cow costume in an adult size (my guess is that costs more than a meal but people looking for free shit are often so blinded by excitement that they won’t do the math) and then put it on and drive to your nearest Chick-fil-A. You may or may not want to get your windows tinted first. So I’m going to show up at a Chick-fil-A on July 10th not for a free meal but to take pictures and hi-five the people that go the distance for some free chicken strips.  Posting of pictures will follow shortly after.

  • There’s something about putting on a cow costume and then eating fast food that makes me think Chick-Fil-A may be fucking with people. I feel really sorry for the person responsible for determining if your costume warrants a free meal, there are going to be so many fist fights, its going to be awesome.

  • I’m going with you!!

  • A good idea might be to get some children and dress them us as cows and then eat their meals. No matter what the costume looks like no one turns down a kid. You can give them a lollipop or something for their work.

  • That is so awesome that there needs to be a word invented for it. Kinda like “funemployment” but about people in costumes eating chicken!
