Semi Adult

In case you haven’t heard the story there is a 27 year old Bronx woman who is suing the college she graduated from in April because she hasn’t been able to find a job. I’m not really sure what the grounds of the lawsuit are because I don’t remember any college ever guaranteeing that you’ll get a job — I’m pretty sure my college just guaranteed that I would graduate with a perfected keg stand and some excellent dance moves (which I did, thank you very much). You’re really opening yourself up to insult when you blame someone else for your inability to get a job. Like I’m sure the school is going to come back and say ‘yea, maybe the fact that you’re a miserable human being is why no one wants to work with you’. The part of the story that really makes me sad is that there are people who actually go to college to get a job vs. going to college to get away from your parents to drink and party for four years straight. Maybe I missed the point….that would explain a few things.
